Registered Acupuncturist & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner

Tracy LE CHANG

With 15 years as an acupuncture practitioner at Acupuncture Vancouver Clinic, I’ve earned trust through positive reviews from over 15,000 appointments. Our clinic is a haven for holistic healing, offering personalized care to address diverse health concerns. Join me on a journey to wellness and vitality in the heart of Vancouver.

Education

I graduated in 2001 from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a prestigious institution recognized as a WHO Collaborating Center for Traditional Medicine. I earned my Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Acupuncture and Moxibustion.

Clinical Experience & Special Training

After completing my formal education, I worked for seven years in a hospital in China, where I gained extensive clinical experience treating a wide range of conditions including pain disorders, stress-related conditions, and internal health issues.

In 2017, I completed advanced training in abdominal acupuncture at the Bo’s Abdominal Acupuncture Medical Research Institute in Beijing under Professor Bo Zhiyun, the founder of this specialized technique. This training deepened my expertise in treating complex and chronic conditions using gentle and effective acupuncture methods.

Abdominal acupuncture focuses on specific points on the abdomen to influence the body’s meridian system. It is known for being minimally invasive and highly effective in supporting systemic health conditions.

Certification & Registration

I have been a Registered Acupuncturist since 2008 and a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner since 2009 in British Columbia. These certifications allow me to provide acupuncture, cupping therapy, acupressure, herbal medicine, and other Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments.

A Different Standard for Acupuncture in Vancouver

Not all acupuncture clinics in Vancouver offer the same level of care. What makes this clinic different is the combination of clinical training, real-world experience, and individualized treatment.

Tracy Le Chang is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who trained at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and previously worked in a hospital setting in China. This background allows her to approach each case with depth, accuracy, and a strong understanding of both symptoms and root causes.

Patients often come in after trying multiple therapies without results. What they find here is a more structured and targeted approach that adapts as their condition improves.

Acupuncture Treatments in Vancouver

Treatment is not limited to needles alone. Depending on your condition, your session may include a combination of acupuncture, cupping therapy, acupressure massage (TuiNa), and traditional Chinese herbal medicine.

Acupuncture is used to regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and restore internal balance. For more complex or chronic conditions, abdominal acupuncture may be used—an advanced technique known for treating systemic issues with minimal discomfort.

Cupping therapy is often added for muscle tension, injury recovery, and circulation issues, while acupressure and TuiNa massage help release tightness and improve energy flow. Herbal medicine may also be recommended when internal imbalance is a contributing factor, especially in cases involving hormones, digestion, or long-term fatigue.

For those looking for aesthetic improvement, facial acupuncture offers a natural way to improve skin tone, reduce wrinkles, and support long-term skin health.

Why Choose Our Acupuncture Clinic in Vancouver?

If you are looking for acupuncture in Vancouver, choosing an experienced practitioner is one of the most important factors in achieving lasting results. At Acupuncture Clinic Vancouver, every treatment plan is personalized after a thorough assessment of your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and health goals.

Located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, our clinic has provided more than 15,000 treatments for patients seeking relief from pain, stress, sleep disorders, sports injuries, digestive conditions, women’s health concerns, and general wellness. Our goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to improve the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance.

No two patients experience the same condition in exactly the same way. Whether you visit us for chronic back pain, migraines, anxiety, fertility support, or recovery after an ICBC motor vehicle accident, every acupuncture session is tailored specifically to your needs.

Depending on your condition, your treatment may include:

  • Traditional Chinese
  • Herbal Medicine

These therapies can be combined when appropriate to help maximize recovery and improve overall health.

Conditions We Commonly Treat With Acupuncture

Patients visit this clinic for a wide range of concerns, often after other approaches have failed to provide lasting results.

Pain-related conditions such as back pain, neck stiffness, sciatica, migraines, and sports injuries are among the most common. Many patients also seek treatment for stress, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders, where acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system and restore balance.

Digestive issues like IBS, constipation, bloating, and acid reflux are frequently treated through a combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Women’s health concerns—including irregular cycles, PMS, PCOS, menopause symptoms, and fertility support—are also a major focus.

Skin conditions such as acne and eczema, as well as concerns like hair loss and facial aging, can be addressed through both internal and external TCM approaches. In addition, patients often come in for weight management, allergies, sinus issues, and chronic fatigue.

If you’re searching for “acupuncture near me” for a specific condition, it’s very likely this clinic has treated similar cases successfully.

Insurance Coverage & Direct Billing

Cost should not be a barrier to getting the care you need. This clinic works with most extended health insurance providers and offers direct billing whenever possible, making the process simple and efficient.

Coverage is available through providers such as Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, and Green Shield, among others. ICBC claims are also accepted, with pre-approved acupuncture treatments available following motor vehicle accidents. WorkSafeBC coverage is supported as well, and assistance is provided for MSP reimbursement claims.

If you’re unsure about your coverage, the clinic can help verify your benefits before your appointment.
